Nature and landscape
The Serra de Tramuntana
Hiking trails start minutes from the villa, with views that justify the early start. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site, with routes for everyone: from easy walks to climbs you will certainly feel.
The beaches
Cala Sant Vicenç and Formentor beach are the two essentials. Sand, clear water and, if you fancy something more active, windsurfing and sailing close by.
Heritage
The old town
It is worth wandering the cobbled streets with no particular plan. Don't skip the Church of Our Lady of the Angels or the Plaça Major, exactly the right place to sit with a drink and watch the town go by.
Local festivals
Pollensa celebrates all year round: Holy Week, and above all the August festivities with their Moors and Christians re-enactment. Catching one is the quickest way to understand the place.

Mallorcan cooking has plenty to offer. Try tumbet or frit mallorquí at the restaurants in town, paired with wine from the island.
The market
Pollensa market runs on Sundays: fresh produce, crafts and a good buzz. A fine morning plan, and the best way to fill the villa's fridge.
